Our Story

Built for first visits, and for the parents who bring them.

Blush Dental is a group practice in Portland with two general dentists who see children and adults. We keep the rooms bright and the schedule loose enough for a nervous child to take a minute.

Our dentists are general dentists. They have not completed a pediatric dentistry residency, and we say so plainly. They see children every day, explain every option, and refer you to a dentist with that training when your child needs one.

    You stay beside your child

    Parents sit with younger children, and older ones decide whether they want you in the room. Nothing starts until your child has seen each tool and heard what it does.

    Plain words, one step at a time

    We say what we are about to do, in words a child can follow, and we show it on a model first. Your child sets the pace.
